How to Connect to Google Merchant Center
This guide will walk you through the process of integrating Google Merchant Center with Power My Analytics, enabling you to automate data collection, centralize your product metrics, and create powerful reports. By the end of this guide, you'll be able to effortlessly connect Google Merchant Center to your Power My Analytics account and start leveraging your product data for actionable insights.
Prerequisites
Before you begin, ensure you have the following:
- An active Google Merchant Center account
- You must grant Power My Analytics permission to access your Google account
- You must grant Power My Analytics the permission Manage your product listings and accounts for Google Shopping on your Google Account
Power My Analytics' connector will never edit, create, or delete anything in your Google Merchant Center account. Google does not provide a read-only option for permissions.
Adding Google Merchant Center as a Data Source
- Log out of all Google accounts except the one you want to connect.
- In your Power My Analytics Hub, navigate to Sources.
- Click + Add New Source and select Google Merchant Center from the gallery.
- Sign in to your Google account when prompted.
- Grant Power My Analytics the required permission (Manage your product listings and accounts for Google Shopping) for your Google account.
