How to Connect to PayPal

Connecting to PayPal requires an API Username and Password as well as a Signature. This article will show you how to get everything you need.

Before You Begin

You will need a free PayPal Business account. It is not currently possible to obtain API credentials for a personal account.

Log In to Your PayPal Business Account

Scroll over your name on the upper right corner and select Account Settings.

Next to API Access, click Update.

Scroll down to NVP/SOAP API integration (classic) and click Manage API credentials.

Click the radio button beside Request API signature then click Agree and Submit.

Click Show next to the API Username, API Password, and Signature. Copy them to your clipboard.

Go To hub.powermyanalytics.com

Click Sources on the left side navigation pane then click +New Data Source. Find PayPal in the gallery and enter the API Username, API Password, and Signature you retrieved in the last step.
