Instagram Insights Data Is Missing from My Report

Certain Instagram Insights data is missing.



Cause

Many of Instagram's Insight key metrics are lifetime. Instagram's API does not collect historical data for lifetime metrics. We will begin saving data for these metrics on the first time you connect with us so that you can have historical data in the future.

These metrics are lifetime:
  1. Followers by City (key and value)
  2. Followers by Country (key and value)
  3. Followers by Gender Age (key and value)
  4. Followers by Locale (key and value)

Solution

Make sure to include today in your reporting range on the first time you connect with us.

Non-lifetime metrics can be backfilled up to 1 year.
