Installing the Power My Analytics Add-in for Microsoft Excel

If you'd like to merge and manipulate data from popular sales and advertising platforms with Microsoft Excel to create insightful and automated reporting, follow the instructions below to install and launch the Power My Analytics Excel Data Connector.

Step 1 - Install Microsoft Excel Add-in

  1. Open a new Microsoft Excel spreadsheet, then navigate to Insert and click the Add-ins button.



  2. Click Store and search for "Power My Analytics," then click the Add button.



  3. Click Continue to agree and install the add-in.



Step 2 - Log In to Power My Analytics

If you are using the web version of Excel and have more than one Google Account, make sure you are logged into just the email associated with your Power My Analytics hub.
  1. Once the add-in is installed, click the Allow button in the sidebar.



  2. Log into your Power My Analytics hub. The PMA window will close and the add-in will appear in the Excel sidebar.



Step 3 - Show Sidebar

  1. To reopen the add-in once already logged in, navigate to Home > Commands Group and click Data Connector.
