Amazon Ads October 2024 Deprecated and New Fields

Amazon has recently made significant updates to their Ads API, which impacts the data available through Power My Analytics. This guide will walk you through the important changes to Amazon Ads reporting, including deprecated fields and new metrics introduced in October 2024. Understanding these changes will help you adapt your reporting strategies and ensure you're leveraging the most current and valuable data for your Amazon advertising efforts.

What You Need to Know

Amazon has released version 3 of their reporting endpoints for Amazon Ads. The version 2 Sponsored Display reporting has been deprecated as of October 2024.

Impact on Existing Reports

Reports using deprecated fields will no longer receive data for those fields. To ensure continuity in your reporting, you'll need to update your reports to use the new fields.
