Disconnect and Reconnect a Source from Your Hub

Are you experiencing errors in your reports? Many issues can be resolved by simply disconnecting and reconnecting a data source. This guide will walk you through the process.

Issue

Errors in reports that can be resolved by disconnecting and reconnecting the data source from the Sources section of the PMA hub.

Alert
Note: Disconnecting your data sources will not pause your subscription from being billed. To pause billing on your subscription, please see Pause or Resume My Subscription.

Steps

Quick Reconnect Method

  1. Go to your Power My Analytics hub at hub.powermyanalytics.com and click on the Sources section in the left navigation bar.
  2. If your data source shows as "Reconnect" under Data Sync in the Sources table, you can use the quick reconnect method to reconnect the source.

  3. Click the Reconnect button that appears to the right of the source to re-establish the connection, without removing and re-adding the source.

  4. Your data source should reconnect and begin syncing your data, and the source's Data Sync column should read "Syncing", followed by "Synced" when the source's data is finished syncing.

Alternatively, you can follow the method below to manually disconnect and then reconnect the data source.

Disconnect the Data Source

  1. Navigate to your Power My Analytics hub at hub.powermyanalytics.com.
  2. Click on Sources in the left navigation pane.
  3. Locate the source that is causing issues.
  4. Click the three-dots Action menu next to the data source.
  5. Select Remove source from the dropdown menu.
  6. Click Confirm to disconnect and remove the data source from your hub.

Reconnect the Data Source

  1. In the Sources section, click the orange + Add new source button located above the main sources table.
  2. Select the same connector from the data connector gallery that you just disconnected.
  3. Sign in with your credentials for your account on the chosen platform.
  4. Grant Power My Analytics the required permissions to access your data.
  5. Your reconnected data source will appear in the main Sources table and begin syncing data according to your configured schedule.
