eBay Data Connector User Guide

The following is a guide to automating reports with your eBay Seller connector. It includes information on available data as well as currently unavailable data and tips on how to get the most out of your eBay Seller reports. To begin creating reports with your eBay Seller connector, you will need at least one eBay Seller account as well as access to Looker Studio or Google Sheets.


Available Data

  1. Overview - Orders, order quantity, product revenue. Product revenue, tax, and order total by date of order, order ID, SKU, fulfillment status, and payment status.
  2. Product Sales - Revenue by date. Quantity and revenue by SKU, item name, and payment status.
  3. Inventory Report - Quantity available by SKU, image, title, and listing start date/time.
  4. Item Variations - Quantity available by image, title, and variation.
  5. Complete List of Fields.

API Limitations

  1. Traffic Reporting - eBay's reported traffic is unreliable and all data in the tables traffic_day and traffic_listing is currently unavailable. eBay is aware of these ongoing API issues.
  2. Fee Reporting - eBay's API currently does not offer a way to report fees.
  3. Custom Fields  - Custom fields are not available.

Connection Requirements

You must be added as a user with View orders and Download order report permissions selected.

Backfilling

eBay only allows backfilling of 90 days of data. This is a limitation of eBay's API. We backfill 90 days of data when you first create a report with us and store historical data going forward.
