Log Out of Other Google Accounts

If you are logged into multiple Google accounts, this can cause authorization conflicts.

1. Log out of all Google accounts.
2. Log back into only the Google account that has access to your Power My Analytics hub and the spreadsheet you wish to use.
   
   
   
   
3. Retry the action that triggered the error.

Log Out and Log Back Into the PMA Add-on

If you are experiencing this error specifically in Google Sheets, try logging out and back into the Power My Analytics add-on:

1. Open your Google Sheets spreadsheet.
2. Navigate to Extensions > Power My Analytics > Log Out.
3. After logging out, navigate to Extensions > Power My Analytics > Log In.
4. Complete the authentication process when prompted.
5. Refresh the spreadsheet page.

Remove Power My Analytics from Google Account Connections and Reauthorize

This solution may be needed if you had connected other Google-based data sources to your PMA hub before installing the Google Sheets add-on. Removing and re-adding the Power My Analytics connection forces Google to request all required permissions, including those needed for the Sheets add-on.

Follow these steps to remove Power My Analytics from your Google account and reauthorize:

1. Go to your Google Account's third-party connections page at https://myaccount.google.com/connections or navigate to Google Account > Security > Your connections to third-party apps & services.
   
2. In the Third-party apps & services list, locate Power My Analytics. Click on Power My Analytics to view its connection details.
3. Scroll down and click on Delete all connections you have with Power My Analytics. Confirm the removal when prompted.
   
4. Next, reauthorize the Google Sheets add-on. Navigate to Extensions > Power My Analytics > Log In.
5. A Google permission dialog will appear requesting access for Power My Analytics. Review the permissions requested, which should include:
   • See, edit, create, and delete all your Google Sheets spreadsheets
   • Connect to an external service
   • Send email as you
   • Allow this application to run when you are not present
   • Display and run third-party web content in prompts and sidebars inside Google applications
6. Click Allow to grant the necessary permissions.
7. Refresh the spreadsheet page after authentication completes.

Try Incognito Mode or Disable Browser Extensions

If the authentication requests are being blocked by your browser or network, try the following:

1. Use Incognito/Private Mode: Open a new incognito or private browsing window and attempt to authenticate again. This bypasses most browser extensions.
2. Disable Ad Blockers: Temporarily disable any ad blockers or privacy extensions that may be blocking requests to Power My Analytics servers.
3. Try a Different Browser: Test the authentication in a different web browser to rule out browser-specific issues.
4. Check Network Settings: If you are on a corporate or restricted network, check with your IT department to ensure that requests to powermyanalytics.com and hub.powermyanalytics.com are not being blocked.
