Missing Google Ads Scopes

Cause

You may receive this error when connecting to a Google Ads account.
It is a result of insufficient permissions granted to Power My Analytics.

Solution

Step 1: Disconnect Google

Disconnecting and reconnecting a source will not impact any existing reports.
Go to your hub. Click Sources on the left navigation panel. Click the red icon next to the account you wish to remove.



Click Confirm.



Step 2: Reconnect to Google with correct permissions

In your Hub, click Sources on the left navigation panel then +New Data Source.



When the popup appears, select the following:
  1. Manage your AdWords campaigns
Power My Analytics' connector will never edit, create, or delete anything in your Google Ads account. Google does not provide a read-only option.



Then try again.
