Missing Google Search Console Scopes

Cause

You may receive this error when connecting to a Google Search Console account.
It is a result of insufficient permissions granted to Power My Analytics.

Solution

Step 1: Disconnect Google

Disconnecting and reconnecting a source will not impact any existing reports.
Go to your hub. Click Sources on the left navigation panel. Click the red icon next to the account you wish to remove.



Click Confirm.



Step 2: Reconnect to Google with correct permissions

In your Hub, click Sources on the left navigation panel then +New Data Source.



When the popup appears, select the following:
  1. View Search Console data for your verified sites.
Power My Analytics' connector will never edit, create, or delete anything in your Google Search Console account. Google does not provide a read-only option.



Then try again.
