The email is not a Google account.



Cause

You have attempted to add a team member using an email address that is neither a Gmail address or a Google Workspace account. If this email address is a Gmail or Google Workspace account and you have received this message in error, please send us a ticket so our support team can diagnose the problem.

Solution

Retry with a Gmail or Google Workspace account. If your team member does not yet have a Gmail account, they can create one for free.
