How to Connect to ShipStation

Shipstation is one of the few connectors that require an API key and secret to connect. This article will help you locate the information you need to start getting data right away.

Check Your Permissions

If you are not the account owner, you must have either Administration or Configuration permissions to create an API key. It is not necessary to have both.


Create an API Key

Select My Profile in the top right-hand corner.



Select API Settings under Account in the left navigation pane. Then click Generate API Keys.



Copy your API Key and API Secret.
Important: If you regenerate the API Keys, the old keys will fail to work and you will need to reconnect in the Hub.
