How to Connect to Walmart

Info
Connecting your Walmart seller account to Power My Analytics is quick and easy. This article will walk you through the authorization process to connect your Walmart (US) data source and start automating your marketplace reporting.

Connect Your Walmart Account

Follow these steps to connect your Walmart Seller Center account to Power My Analytics:

  1. Navigate to the Sources section of your Power My Analytics hub and click Add new source.

  2. Under Connect a data source, select the Walmart (US) connector. You'll be forwarded to the Walmart Seller Center platform.

  3. Enter your Walmart Seller Center email or user ID and password, then click the Log In button to continue.

  4. You'll be prompted to authorize permissions for PMA to access your Walmart Seller Center information. Review the requested permissions, then click the Authorize button to continue.

  5. Your Walmart account is now connected, and you'll be sent back to your PMA hub.

From there, you can create reports, connect more sources, or set up data exports if these are included in your plan.

Notes
Geographic Limitation: The Walmart (US) connector only supports United States Walmart Seller Center accounts. Canadian and Mexican Walmart accounts use different APIs and are not currently supported. See Invalid Request Header Error When Connecting to Walmart in Hub for more information.

  9. Returns – Manage returns and refunds
Alert
You can revoke PMA's access at any time by visiting your installed apps on your Walmart Seller Center.

Once your Walmart account is connected, you can:

  1. Connect another source – Add additional data sources to your hub from the Sources section
  2. Create a report – Build reports using your Walmart data in Looker Studio, Google Sheets, Microsoft Excel, or Data Builder
  3. Export your data – Set up exports to destinations like BigQuery, FTP, SQL, or Amazon S3 (available on eligible plans)
