Limitations and Important Considerations

  1. Backfilling: Most metrics can be backfilled for up to 180 days.
    1. Returns data can be backfilled for up to 2 years.
    2. Inventory is a live metric and cannot be backfilled.
  2. API key changes: If you create new API keys for your Walmart account after connecting to PMA, you'll need to create a new Walmart data source in your hub and update your existing reports to use the new data source.
  3. Reconciliation data: This is not available daily and will populate 2 to 3 times per month.
  4. Inventory reporting: Include the current date in your date range to get the most recent inventory values.
  5. Geographic limitation: PMA only supports the United States Walmart API. Mexico and Canada use different APIs and are not supported.

Unavailable Data

  1. Realtime data
  2. Custom fields

Account Behavior When Reconnecting with New API Keys

If you create new API keys for your Walmart account after previously connecting to Power My Analytics using your earlier API keys, your Walmart data sources and reports in PMA will be affected in the following ways:
  1. When you connect to your Walmart account in PMA using your new API keys, this will create a new Walmart data source in your hub corresponding to the new keys.
  2. This will not reconnect the previously connected Walmart data source corresponding to the earlier API keys.
  3. Your existing reports using your previous Walmart data source will need to be changed to use the newly connected Walmart data source.
