Outbrain Data Connector User Guide
The following article is a guide to automating reports with your Outbrain connector. It includes information on available data as well as currently unavailable data and tips on how to get the most out of your Outbrain reports. To begin creating reports with your Outbrain connector, you will need at least one Outbrain account as well as access to Looker Studio or Google Sheets.
Available Data
- Key Performance Indicators - Impressions, clicks, clickthrough rate, cost, and conversion rate.
- Demographics - Performance by device and region.
- Performance by Campaign - Breakdowns by campaign names, spend, cost per click, impressions, clicks, clickthrough rate, conversions, conversion rate, conversion values, and view-through conversions.
- Performance by Publisher - Breakdowns by publisher names and URLs, spend, cost per click, impressions, clicks, clickthrough rate, conversions, conversion rate, conversion values, and view-through conversions.
- Content - Breakdowns by content name and URL with images, spend, cost per click, impressions, clicks, clickthrough rate, conversions, conversion rate, conversion values, and view-through conversions.
- Custom Fields - Metrics for conversions are available.

API Limitations
Outbrain's API can only accept 10 live requests per minute. Data may be delayed 24 hours. On your first connection or if you are requesting a long period of time, you may receive this error:
Wait one minute and then refresh your data.
Connection Requirements
Your Outbrain account must have
API access to connect to Power My Analytics. To obtain API access in Outbrain Amplify API, go to
Generate Amplify Api Token and enter your password. Then click
Generate.
When adding Outbrain as a data source in your hub, enter your Amplify API Token.
Backfilling
Power My Analytics will initially backfill 13 months of data when you first create a report. Run a manual backfill from your Hub to get up to 2 years of data.
