Stripe Data Connector User Guide

The following article is a guide to automating reports with your Stripe connector. It includes information on available data as well as currently unavailable data and tips on how to get the most out of your Stripe reports. To begin creating reports with your Stripe connector, you will need at least one Stripe account as well as access to Looker Studio or Google Sheets.

Available Data

  1. Key Performance Indicators - Gross volume, net volume from sales, new customers, successful payments, spend per customer, dispute activity percentage, dispute count, and high risk payments.
  2. Balance - Sort by currency and show changes over time. See your total balance, the amount available instantly, and the amount in transit to your bank.
  3. Transactions - Gross revenue, fees, and net revenue. Sort by date, transaction ID, transaction type, status, and description.
  4. Payments - Date, currency, status, description, and amount.
  5. Subscriptions - Subscription created, subscription start date, subscription ID, subscription amount, subscription interval, subscription plan, subscription product ID, subscription quantity, subscription status.
  6. Complete List of Fields.

API Limitations

  1. Realtime data - Realtime data is not available.
  2. Custom Fields - Custom fields are not available.

Connection Requirements

Your account must have an Administrator Role for a successful connection. To grant Administrator access to a user on your Stripe account, open your Stripe settings and go to Invite team members. Under Admin Roles, check Administrator.



Then click Send invites. The user will be granted the Administrator role.

Backfilling

Power My Analytics will initially backfill 13 months of data when you first create a report. Run a manual backfill from your Hub to get up to 2 years of data.
