Transfer Ownership of a Looker Studio Report

Transfer Ownership of a Looker Studio Report

When you create a report in Looker Studio, your account becomes the owner of that report. If you want to transfer ownership over a report to another user, follow these instructions.

Begin in your Looker Studio report. In the upper right corner, click on the Share button.

Enter the email address of the report's new owner and click OK.

Click Share in the upper right corner of the report and select the Manage access tab.

Next to the account of the new owner, click Can view and select Make owner

Click Yes to continue.

The ownership of the report is now held by the new owner's account.

Limitations

You can only transfer ownership of a Looker Studio report to an account that shares the same domain as its current owner. Trying to transfer ownership to another domain not shared by the current owner will cause an error.
