Why Am I Not Seeing Insights for Some of My Old Instagram Posts?
This article will address the following issue:
An Instagram account that was previously a personal account but has converted to a business account may be missing media insights metrics from before the conversion.
Missing data will include:
- Engagement
- Lifetime Impressions
- Lifetime Reach
- Saved
- Video Views
Cause
Facebook's API will only send media insight data beginning on the date of the change.
Solution
Unfortunately, we are unable to retrieve information that Facebook's API does not send. To improve the appearance of the report, you can add a date range control to exclude the time period before the change.
