Power My Analytics offers several ways to receive the marketing data you've centralized in your hub: visualization reports, spreadsheets, database and file exports, the PMA API, and the PMA MCP Server. This article compares every supported destination, explains which plans include each one, and helps you choose the best fit for your reporting workflow.
What is a destination?
A destination is where your data goes after Power My Analytics collects and warehouses it. Every PMA plan automatically collects data from your sources into PMA's secure data warehouse; destinations are the ways you get that data back out. They fall into four categories:
- Reporting destinations: visualization tools and spreadsheets (Data Studio, Google Sheets, Microsoft Excel)
- Data exports: scheduled deliveries to databases, warehouses, and file storage (BigQuery, MySQL, PostgreSQL, Azure SQL Database, Amazon S3, FTP, Snowflake)
- PMA API: programmatic access for your own applications
- PMA MCP Server (Beta): conversational access through AI assistants

Reporting destinations
Data Studio
Every PMA plan includes unlimited Data Studio reports. Point-and-click integration lets you build live dashboards from any of your connected sources, and it's the fastest way to share polished reports with clients or stakeholders. Data Studio is the former Looker Studio; you may see either name in Google's documentation.
Google Sheets and Microsoft Excel (Spreadsheets)
The Spreadsheets feature sends your PMA data directly into Google Sheets or Microsoft Excel, where you can build custom calculations, pivot tables, and formatted reports.
- Pro plan: Spreadsheets are included at no additional charge.
- Custom plan: Spreadsheets are optionally available depending on your agreement.
- Business plan: Spreadsheets are not available and cannot be added as an add-on.
Data exports (Custom plan)
Data exports deliver your Data Builder reports to a database, data warehouse, or file destination on a schedule you control (monthly, weekly, daily, or hourly, depending on your agreement). Exports are available on the Custom plan when your agreement includes them.
Supported export destinations:
- BigQuery: Google's cloud data warehouse, with date-partitioned tables
- MySQL: any reachable MySQL server, including Google Cloud SQL
- PostgreSQL: any reachable PostgreSQL server, including Google Cloud SQL, Amazon RDS, and Azure Database for PostgreSQL
- Azure SQL Database: Microsoft's managed SQL database service
- Amazon S3: file delivery (CSV or JSON) to an S3 bucket
- FTP/SFTP: file delivery (CSV or JSON) to your own server
- Snowflake: Snowflake's data cloud, connected via OAuth
Before setting up an export, create the report you want to deliver in
Data Builder. Each export then follows a three-step configuration: Destination, Reports, and Schedule. For setup details, see
How to Use Data Exports.
Exports also unlock indirect destinations. Once your data lands in BigQuery or a SQL database, you can connect business intelligence tools such as Tableau or Power BI directly to that warehouse.
What about Supabase and other hosted databases?
Supabase is not a named PMA destination, but Supabase databases are built on PostgreSQL. On a Custom plan with exports, the PostgreSQL export can deliver data to PostgreSQL-compatible databases, which is how customers typically reach platforms like Supabase. If you're considering this route,
contact our support team and we'll help you confirm the details for your setup.
PMA API (Custom plan)
The Power My Analytics API provides programmatic access to your connected accounts' data using an API key generated in your hub (
Tools > API). It's the right choice when you're building your own application or data pipeline and want to pull data on your own terms. API access is available on the Custom plan when your agreement includes it. See
Get Started with Power My Analytics API for details.
PMA MCP Server (Beta): available on every plan
The PMA MCP Server connects AI assistants (Claude Desktop, Claude Code, Claude Web, ChatGPT, and other MCP-compatible clients) directly to your hub, so you can ask questions about your marketing data in plain language: headline numbers, cross-platform comparisons, trends, and anomaly checks. Headless (server-to-server) integrations are also supported using your PMA API token, which gives developers a programmatic query path during the Beta.
The MCP Server is available to all PMA users at no additional cost during the Beta soft launch, through July 31, 2026. Starting August 1, 2026, MCP usage will move to usage-based billing; full details and advance notice will be shared before any charges begin.
The MCP Server complements your other destinations rather than replacing them: it's ideal for ad-hoc questions, while scheduled reports and exports remain the path for recurring, shareable reporting. See the
PMA MCP Server FAQ to learn more.
A note for legacy add-on subscribers
Before 2026, Spreadsheets and Exports were available as monthly add-ons on legacy plans. If you subscribed to one of these add-ons before 2026, you keep your existing configuration. However, new export destinations cannot be added on legacy plans; adding new destinations requires the Custom plan. If your add-on cost is a significant share of your subscription, it may be worth comparing your current setup against the Pro plan (which includes Spreadsheets) or a Custom plan agreement. Please
contact our sales team and we'll help you find the most cost-effective option.
Choosing the right destination
- You want polished dashboards to share: Data Studio (all plans).
- You live in spreadsheets: Google Sheets or Microsoft Excel on the Pro plan, which includes Spreadsheets at no extra charge.
- You need data in your own database or warehouse: BigQuery, MySQL, PostgreSQL, Azure SQL Database, Amazon S3, FTP, or Snowflake exports on the Custom plan.
- You're building your own application: the PMA API on the Custom plan.
- You want quick answers without building a report: the PMA MCP Server (Beta) on any plan.
