This guide will walk you through connecting your CleverReach account as a data source in Power My Analytics. By integrating CleverReach with our platform, you'll be able to automate your email marketing and newsletter data collection, create comprehensive reports, and make data-driven decisions to improve your campaign performance.

Prerequisites

Before you begin, make sure you have:
  • An active CleverReach account (free or paid plan)
  • Your CleverReach account email and password ready for the authorization step
Notes
No API key required. Power My Analytics connects to CleverReach using OAuth, so you don't need to generate an API key, configure scopes, or adjust any special permissions in your CleverReach account before getting started.

Step 1: Add CleverReach as a Data Source in Power My Analytics

  1. Log in to your Power My Analytics hub at https://hub.powermyanalytics.com.
  2. Navigate to Sources from the main menu.
  3. Click + Add new source.
  4. Select CleverReach from the list of available sources.
  5. You will be redirected to CleverReach's OAuth authorization page. Click Log in with my existing CleverReach account and connect.
  6. Enter your CleverReach email and password to sign in and authorize the connection.
  7. Once authorized, you will be redirected back to the Power My Analytics hub and your CleverReach account will appear in Sources.
Your campaign data from CleverReach will automatically begin syncing to your Power My Analytics data warehouse. When the initial backfill is finished, you can use this data in Looker Studio reports, Google Sheets, Microsoft Excel, or export it to your preferred data destination.
Notes
Tip: CleverReach's initial backfill brings in up to 13 months of historical data, and the connector supports up to 2 years of historical data overall. If you need to fill a longer time range or address a data gap after connection, you can run a manual backfill from the Action menu on your CleverReach data source.

Revoke Power My Analytics' Access in CleverReach

If you'd like to disconnect your CleverReach account from Power My Analytics, this is a two-step process:
  • Remove the CleverReach data source from your Power My Analytics hub.
  • Revoke Power My Analytics' authorization from your CleverReach account.

Step 1: Remove the CleverReach Data Source from Your Hub

  1. Go to your Power My Analytics hub at https://hub.powermyanalytics.com and click on Sources in the left sidebar.
  2. Find your CleverReach account in the list of connected sources. Click the three dots to open the Action menu.
  3. Click Remove source.
  4. Click Confirm to remove the CleverReach data source from PMA.
Your CleverReach data source is now disconnected from Power My Analytics.

Step 2: Revoke Power My Analytics in CleverReach

For security, we recommend revoking Power My Analytics' authorization from your CleverReach account once it is no longer in use:
  1. Log in to your CleverReach account.
  2. Open My Account and choose Extras > REST API.
  3. Locate the Power My Analytics application in the list of authorized OAuth applications.
  4. Click the action menu next to it and select Revoke (or Delete).
  5. Confirm when prompted.
Power My Analytics no longer has access to your CleverReach account.
