How to Use the Exports Add-On

Power My Analytics offers the option to export data from your reports into destinations like BigQuery, MySQL, Azure SQL Database, and FTP. With our easy-to-use Exports Add-On, you can set up a report in PMA's Data Explorer and schedule regular data exports to your preferred destination.

What Is PMA's Exports Add-On?

Power My Analytics includes destinations for raw data exports, including BigQuery, MySQL, Azure SQL Database, FTP, and more.
  1. If you are on an Enterprise plan, you already have access to data exports as part of your subscription.
  2. The Exports Add-On is also an optional feature available on Single, Business, and Pro plans for an additional $49.95/month.
With the Exports Add-On, you can connect your BigQuery dataset, SQL database, or FTP server, and begin receiving regularly scheduled data exports from the reports you've created in PMA.

Step 1: Create Your Data Explorer Report

Before you can export your data, you need to choose:
  1. The data source you want to use
  2. The fields you want to report
  3. The date range of data you want to include, and other options
Follow the instructions in How to Create a Report in Data Explorer to begin setting up your report.

Step 2: Activate the Exports Add-On

  1. Go to your Power My Analytics hub.
  2. Click on Exports > BigQuery.



  3. Click the Enable Exports button.



  4. Under Add Exports to Your Current Plan, toggle Enable Exports Addon.



  5. Click Confirm to enable the add-on.



  6. The exports add-on will appear as enabled in the export settings.


Step 3: Set Up Your Export

Now you're ready to set up your data exports. To begin scheduling your exports, choose one of PMA's export destinations and follow the instructions in the linked articles:
