Incorrect Inventory Numbers from Amazon Seller

Inventory numbers in an Amazon report are bloated or incorrect.

Cause

The most common cause of this problem is a missing marketplace dimension or filter. Even if you configure your account to include one country only, you will still receive data from multiple marketplaces and must filter it when you run a report.

Solution

In Looker Studio

Add the Marketplace dimension to your table.



Add a Marketplace filter to your report.




In Google Sheets or Excel

Add Marketplace as a dimension.



Create a Marketplace filter in your query.
