Pinterest Analytics Following Count Is Inflated
This article will address the following issue:
Following Count is higher than in Pinterest's UI.
Cause
This is not an error. Pinterest's API includes accounts and interests in following_count.
We have submitted feedback to Pinterest about the confusing nature of this metric. They assure us they have taken it into account for future updates.
