Meta stopped reporting Reach on June 15, 2026. If your Facebook post report shows 0 for Reach in Data Studio, switch to the field called Views (Facebook views). If you do not see that field yet, your report is holding an old copy of the field list and needs one quick refresh. Applies to all plans.
Why Reach shows 0
Meta removed its Reach metric for every tool that reads Facebook Page data, including Power My Analytics. This is a change Meta made, not a problem with your connection or something a data sync or backfill can fix. Reach was a "live" field, meaning PMA asked Meta for it each time your report loaded rather than storing it in your data warehouse. So unlike most retired fields, Reach goes blank for past dates too, not just new ones.
Use Views (Facebook views) instead
- Open your report and edit the chart showing Reach.
- Remove the Reach or Post Reach field.
- Search the field list for Views.
- Select Views (Facebook views).
- Save the chart.

A lot of people search for "Post Views" here, find nothing, and assume the replacement was never built. The field is named Views (Facebook views). Search "Views", not "Post Views".
If Views (Facebook views) is not in your field list
Your report is showing a saved copy of the field list from when you first set it up, so new fields are missing. Refresh it:
- Go to Resource > Manage added data sources.
- Click Edit next to your Power My Analytics source.
- Click Refresh Fields in the lower left.
- Click Done, then reopen your chart. The field will be there.
This only updates the list of fields you can pick from. It does not change any of your numbers.
What you'll see in your report
Views (Facebook views) counts how many times your post was shown on screen. Reach counted how many separate people saw it. So one person scrolling past your post twice counts as 2 views but was only 1 reach. Expect your new numbers to run higher than the old ones. That difference is Meta's new definition, not an error.
One thing to check as you make the swap: Views (Facebook views) is a post-level metric, so its values should not be added up into an account-wide total. If Reach was in a scorecard or a totals row, use the page-level field Page Content Views there instead of summing the per-post values.
Other fields affected by this change
Reach was retired alongside a group of related fields. If a chart went blank on June 15, 2026, check this list:
- Total Reach and Total Reach - Paid on your Page report: use Page Content Views
- Post Reach - Paid and Post Reach - Organic: use Views (Facebook views)
- Post Engagement Rate: use Post Engagement Rate (Viewers)
Post Engagement Rate is worth calling out. It is a rate PMA calculated for you using Reach, so when Reach went away the rate went blank. You cannot rebuild it yourself, which is why we added Post Engagement Rate (Viewers).
Good to know
- This affects Facebook Insights only. Your Facebook Ads reports are untouched.
- The retired fields still appear in your field list, labeled DEPRECATED. They are kept visible so you can find and replace them, not because they still return data.
- Meta's new metrics that count unique people again are now available in PMA: Post Total Media View Unique Lifetime (per post) and Page Total Media View Unique Day (per Page). If you do not see them, refresh your field list using the steps above.
