Snapchat Data Connector User Guide

The following article is a guide to automating reports with your Snapchat connector. It includes information on available data as well as currently unavailable data and tips on how to get the most out of your Snapchat reports. To begin creating reports with your Snapchat connector, you will need at least one Snapchat account as well as access to Looker Studio or Google Sheets.

Available Data

  1. Key Performance Indicators - Amount spent, paid impressions, paid eCPM, swipe ups, eCPSU, and amount spent over time.
  2. Campaign Breakdowns - Amount spent, paid impressions, paid eCPM, swipe ups, and eCPSU by campaign and status.
  3. Ad Set Breakdowns - Daily budget, lifetime goal, goal, amount spent, paid impressions, paid eCPM, swipe ups, and eCPSU by ad set name and status.
  4. Ad Breakdowns Amount spent, paid impressions, paid eCPM, swipe ups, and eCPSU by ad name, status, and type.
  5. Impressions Demographics - Impressions by country, state, age group, and gender.
  6. Swipes Demographics - Swipes by country, state, age group, and gender.
  7. Complete List of Fields.

API Limitations

  1. Custom Fields - Custom fields are not available.

Connection Requirements

An Account Admin or Campaign Manager role is required for a successful connection to Snapchat. Check your login's ad account role to be sure you have the required access.

To grant Account Admin or Campaign Manager access to a Snapchat Ads account, go to the Snapchat Ads Manager. Open the menu in the upper left corner and go to Members. Select the account and then choose an ad account role of Account Admin or Campaign Manager.


Backfilling

Power My Analytics will initially backfill 13 months of data when you first create a report. To access up to 2 years of data, run a backfill from your Hub .
