TikTok Shop is TikTok's built-in ecommerce platform, giving sellers a direct path to reach TikTok's global audience. By connecting TikTok Shop to Power My Analytics, you can bring your order, product, and seller performance data into Data Studio, Google Sheets, and other destinations for comprehensive ecommerce reporting.
The TikTok Shop connector is currently in
BETA. Features and data availability may change as the connector matures. Please
submit a ticket if you encounter any unexpected behavior.
Prerequisites
Before you begin, make sure you have:
- An active TikTok Shop Seller Center account with Admin or Shop Owner access
- A TikTok Shop that is active and approved (not suspended or in a pending-review state)
- Your TikTok Shop Seller Center login credentials (authentication is handled via OAuth — no API keys are required)
Adding TikTok Shop as a Data Source
- Navigate to your Hub and select Sources from the menu.
- Click + Add new source and search for "TikTok Shop." Click the TikTok Shop tile.
- You will be redirected to TikTok Shop's OAuth authorization page. Click Authorize, then sign in with your TikTok Shop Seller Center credentials and approve the requested data-access permissions.
- Once authorized, you will be redirected back to PMA Hub and your shop will appear in your list of active sources.
If you manage multiple TikTok Shops under one seller account, select the specific shop you want to connect on the authorization screen. Each shop must be added to Power My Analytics as a separate source.
Availability: The TikTok Shop connector currently supports shops registered in the United States only. Authorize with your US TikTok Shop Seller Center account. If your shop is registered in another region, it is not supported yet.
Submit a ticket and we will log your region as a request.
Creating a Data Studio Report
- After adding TikTok Shop as a data source in the PMA hub, navigate to Reports > Data Studio.
- Select TikTok Shop under Create Data Studio Report (this will open the official Data Studio application in a new window).

- Step 2: Select your TikTok Shop account (real data) or "Sample Account" (sample data), then click Next.
- Step 3: Choose "Clients" for reports, then click Connect (top right).

Limitations and Important Considerations
- Cached Data Requests with Unique Metrics and Date Dimension: When a unique metric is paired with the date dimension, this will result in a request for cached data instead of a request for live data. For more information, please see Understanding Cached and Live Data Requests.
- Shop Analytics and account-level performance metrics are limited by TikTok's API to approximately the most recent 60 days. No historical backfill is available beyond this window for these metrics.
- Backfilling for orders, products, and transaction data: Power My Analytics initially backfills approximately 3 months of data when you first connect your shop. Up to 2 years of total history can be retrieved via manual backfill for order, product, and transaction data.
- Default time zone: UTC.
- Data propagation delay: Data may take up to 2 hours to appear after first connecting your shop.
- Deleted or archived products and orders: These may appear in TikTok's Seller Center UI but are not available through the Partner API.
Unavailable Data
The following data is not currently available through the TikTok Shop Partner API:
- Deleted orders
- Deleted or archived products
- Live-session and live-stream engagement metrics
- Creator and affiliate commission breakdowns (beyond what the Affiliate API exposes)
- Customer personally identifiable information (buyer name, phone number, full address) beyond masked values
- Custom fields
- Real-time data
Troubleshooting
Token Expiration and Re-authorization
TikTok Shop OAuth tokens can expire or be invalidated if a shop owner changes. If your TikTok Shop data stops syncing, navigate to Sources in your Hub, locate your TikTok Shop source, and re-authorize the connection.
Region Availability
The TikTok Shop connector currently supports shops registered in the United States only, and authorization runs through the US TikTok Shop Seller Center. If your shop is registered in another region, it is not supported yet. Submit a ticket and we will log your region as a request.
For guidance on other issues that may affect this connector, see Basic Troubleshooting.
