Common Reasons Your Bill May Have Increased

There are several common reasons why your PMA bill may be higher than expected. Review the list below to identify what may have changed on your hub.

You enabled additional accounts in a data source

Each PMA plan includes a set number of accounts. If you enable more accounts than your plan includes, additional account charges will appear on your bill as addons. How these overages are calculated depends on your plan:
  1. Business plan: Your plan includes 5 accounts total, shared across all connected data sources. Each additional account beyond 5 is billed at $14.95/month.
  2. Pro plan: Your plan includes 10 accounts per source. Overages are billed based on your single highest-count connector — whichever data source has the most accounts determines the number of additional accounts charged.
Notes
Understanding Pro plan account overages: On the Pro plan, overage charges are not based on the sum of all your connectors. Instead, only the connector with the highest number of accounts is used to calculate your overages. The accounts exceeding the included 10 in that single connector are billed as additional accounts at volume pricing rates.

Example: If your hub has 18 accounts in Facebook Ads, 10 in Google Ads, and 6 in GA4, your overage is based solely on the Facebook Ads connector: 18 minus the 10 included = 8 additional accounts billed. The Google Ads and GA4 connectors do not add to the overage because neither exceeds the highest-count connector.

For volume pricing tiers on additional Pro accounts, see Billing Basics and Best Practices.

Tip: Prevent unexpected account growth. Hub Owners on standard plans can set a self-imposed limit on the maximum number of connected accounts per data source type in Settings > Account Limits. This prevents team members from connecting more accounts than budgeted, helping you avoid unexpected overage charges. For details, see Manage Account Limits in Your Hub.

You added additional business locations

If you use Google Business Profile and have enabled more business locations than your plan includes, additional location charges will appear on your bill. The Business plan includes 5 business locations ($1.70/month per additional location) and the Pro plan includes 100 business locations ($0.50/month per additional location).

You added additional admins

On the Business plan, your hub includes 2 admins. Each additional admin is billed at $4.95/month. (The Pro plan includes unlimited admins at no extra charge.)

You upgraded your plan

If you recently switched from one plan to a higher tier (for example, from Business to Pro), your bill will reflect the new plan's pricing. When you change plans, billing for the new plan takes effect immediately, and any amount already paid under the previous plan is prorated.

You switched from a yearly plan to a monthly plan

Yearly plans include a 16% discount compared to monthly pricing. If you switched from yearly to monthly billing, your per-month cost will be higher even though your plan tier and addons haven't changed.
