How to Connect to Quora Ads

How to Connect to Quora Ads

Info
Looking to bring your Quora Ads data into a single, automated reporting workflow? This guide will walk you through connecting Quora Ads as a data source in Power My Analytics, so you can centralize your campaign, ad set, and ad performance metrics, create comprehensive reports, and make data-driven decisions about your Quora advertising spend.

Prerequisites

Before you begin, make sure you have:

Step 1: Obtain Your Quora Ads Client ID and Client Secret

Power My Analytics connects to Quora Ads using OAuth credentials issued by Quora. To retrieve them:
  1. Log in to your Quora Ads account.
  2. Visit https://www.quora.com/ads/oauth_client_data to view your Client ID and Client Secret.
  3. Keep these credentials in a secure location — you will use them when adding Quora Ads as a data source in the next step.

Step 2: Add Quora Ads as a Data Source in Power My Analytics

  1. Log in to your Power My Analytics hub at https://hub.powermyanalytics.com.
  2. Navigate to Sources from the main menu.
  3. Click + Add new source.
  4. Select Quora Ads from the list of available sources.
  5. Sign in to your Quora Ads account using the Client ID and Client Secret from Step 1 to authenticate.
  6. Authorize the requested permission scopes to complete the connection.
Once connected, Quora Ads will appear in your list of active data sources. Your Quora Ads data will automatically begin syncing to your Power My Analytics data warehouse — 13 months of historical data is imported automatically on the initial backfill, with up to 2 years available via manual backfill. When the initial backfill is finished, you can use this data in Data Studio reports, Google Sheets, Microsoft Excel, or export it to your preferred data destination.
Notes
Power My Analytics' connector will never edit, create, or delete anything in your Quora Ads account. The Client ID and Client Secret are used solely to authenticate read-only API requests for your reporting data.
Notes
Daily granularity: Day-by-day data is only available at the account level. Campaign-level data is reported as a total within the selected date range, not broken out by day.
