Sample Data allows you to showcase templates and reports to potential clients without sharing sensitive information. Read this article to learn how to use Sample Data in Looker Studio.
Can I Use Sample Data?
Currently, Sample Data is only available to our clients with existing connections.
Begin in Your Template
Under Resource, select Manage added data sources.
Click Add a data source then select the Power My Analytics connector you wish to use from the gallery.
Select your Power My Analytics Hub, then select Sample Account from the User Account drop-down menu.
Create a Seed
A seed can be any number you like. Remember the seed you use so that you can reuse it if you like the report. Each unique seed will always create the same Sample Data.
Add Sample Data to your template
Select each chart then choose the Sample Data from your list of available Added data sources.
