Get valuable insights into your StackAdapt advertising campaigns and performance marketing by connecting your StackAdapt account to Power My Analytics. This guide will walk you through setting up your StackAdapt account as a data source and creating reports to present your data.

Prerequisites

Before connecting StackAdapt to Power My Analytics, ensure you have:
  1. A StackAdapt account
  2. The API key for your StackAdapt account

Find Your StackAdapt API Key

You will need to enter your API key in Power My Analytics when connecting your StackAdapt account as a data source. To find the API key for your StackAdapt account:
  1. Sign in to your StackAdapt account at https://www.stackadapt.com/login
  2. Go to your Account Settings > API Integration.
  3. Find your API key and copy it.

Adding StackAdapt as a Data Source

  1. Go to your Power My Analytics hub and select Sources from the main menu.
  2. Click + Add new source and choose StackAdapt from the gallery of data sources.
  3. Enter the API key that you obtained from StackAdapt.
  4. Click Connect to authenticate and finish adding your StackAdapt account as a data source.

Creating a Looker Studio Report

Follow these steps to create a Looker Studio report using your StackAdapt data:
  1. In the PMA hub, navigate to Reports > Looker Studio
  2. Select StackAdapt under Create Looker Studio Report (this will open the official Looker Studio application in a new window)
    1. Step 1:
      1. Name your data source (e.g., "StackAdapt - Business Name")
      2. Power My Analytics Hub: Choose your PMA hub from the dropdown
      3. Optional: Leave "Use report template for new reports" checked to use the PMA demo template
      4. Click Next
    2. Step 2:
      1. User Account: Select your StackAdapt account (for real data) or "Sample Account" (for sample data)
      2. Click Next
    3. Step 3:
      1. Click Connect (top right) to complete the data source configuration
    4. Step 4:
      1. Click Create Report (top right)

The StackAdapt connector provides access to a variety of advertising and audience data, including:
  • Lists Metrics: Performance data for your audience lists
  • Automations Metrics: Automated campaign performance data
  • Campaign Performance Metrics: Comprehensive campaign performance analytics
  • Statistics: Detailed statistical data for your StackAdapt campaigns
