This guide will help you migrate your Revenue Attribution Report (RAR) data access from the LinkedIn Business Manager connector to the LinkedIn Ads connector. This migration is required to maintain access to your RAR data after July 30, 2025.

LinkedIn Business Manager Migration Overview

Power My Analytics is consolidating LinkedIn Revenue Attribution Reporting (RAR) functionality into the LinkedIn Ads connector to provide a more unified and enhanced reporting experience. This change affects customers currently using the standalone LinkedIn Business Manager connector for RAR data.
Alert
Action Required by July 30, 2025: The standalone LinkedIn Business Manager connector will be discontinued on July 30, 2025. You must migrate to the LinkedIn Ads connector before this date to maintain access to your Revenue Attribution Report data.

Benefits and Changes

Migrating to the LinkedIn Ads connector means several changes to LinkedIn Business Manager reporting:
  • Campaign and Ad Set Levels: RAR metrics are now available at both levels (LinkedIn's Oct 2025 labels; formerly campaign group and campaign)
  • Unified Reporting: Access both LinkedIn Ads performance data and Revenue Attribution Reports in a single connector and enhanced reporting template
  • Date Range: Must be between 30 and 366 days
  • Live Data: LinkedIn RAR metrics now provide live data only, not cached data
  • Granularity: Daily breakdowns for RAR metrics are no longer available, only all-time data
  • Pipeline Amount: Currently unavailable (will be restored in future update)
Notes
LinkedIn's 2025 naming change: Since October 2025, LinkedIn Campaign Manager calls a Campaign Group a Campaign, and a Campaign an Ad set. This is a label change in LinkedIn only; your data and field names in Power My Analytics are unchanged. In your reports, LinkedIn's new "Campaign" maps to Campaign Group and LinkedIn's new "Ad set" maps to Campaign. See the LinkedIn Ads Data Connector User Guide for the full mapping.

Step-by-Step Migration Process

Step 1: Connect LinkedIn Ads Data Source

If you don't already have a LinkedIn Ads data source connected, follow these steps:
  1. On the Sources page of your Power My Analytics Hub, click + Add new source
  2. Select LinkedIn Ads from the data connector gallery
  3. Sign in to your LinkedIn account to authenticate
  4. Grant the required permissions when prompted
  5. Wait for the initial data sync to complete (this may take several hours)
If you already have a LinkedIn Ads data source connected:
  1. Your existing LinkedIn Ads data source will automatically include Revenue Attribution Report functionality, and RAR metrics will be available in your reports within 24 hours. No additional action is required.

Step 2: Update Scheduled Exports

If you have scheduled exports using LinkedIn Business Manager data:
  1. Navigate to Exports in your PMA Hub
  2. Review all exports that reference LinkedIn Business Manager data
  3. Create new exports using the LinkedIn Ads connector and RAR metrics
  4. Update your export schedules and configurations
  5. Remove old exports that use the LinkedIn Business Manager connector
