Meta Business Suite Reach and Engagement Numbers Do Not Align with Facebook Insights Reports
Reach and engagement metrics in Meta Business Suite may appear lower than in your PMA Facebook Insights reports. This article will help you find the correct figures.
Cause
Meta Business Suite's Insights Overview section only reports organic reach and engagements, while PMA’s Facebook Insights connector reports all reach and engagements. The reach and engagement numbers in your Facebook Insights reports will always be greater than or equal to the numbers reported in Meta Business Suite.
Solution
Use classic Facebook Page Insights to view reach and engagements for a page. Facebook Page Insights reports all reach and engagements, and is not limited to organic reach and engagements. The numbers on Facebook Page Insights will align with the numbers in your PMA Facebook Insights reports.
Report Organic Reach Data
To get organic reach data through PMA's connector, use the field Total Reach - Organic. This is not available as a scorecard and must be dimensioned by date, as Facebook's API does not aggregate reach data.
