How to Connect Your Data Sources to the Social Media Dashboard Template

Our Social Media Dashboard template can save you a lot of time in making a visually dynamic collection of your social media data. This article will help you learn how to use it.

Sample Dashboard


Before you begin, please note that for these data sources, the data will start populating the day you connect and there will be no historical data available prior to the day you connect.  That is because the APIs do not support pulling historical data for these metrics.  We will save the data going forward so the graphs populate over time.

Instructions

In your hub, go to Tools > Report Templates and select Social Media Report.



Then click Use Template.



Click the three dots icon and select Make a copy. 



Next, add your data sources for Google Analytics 4, Facebook Insights, Instagram Insights, LinkedIn Company Analytics, Twitter Analytics, YouTube Analytics, and Pinterest Lifetime Analytics. You can also leave these set to sample data to create a report using PMA's randomly generated example data.



When you're finished, click Copy Report.
