How do I create a report in Looker Studio?

Looker Studio Demo Template Guide

Info
When connecting to Looker Studio, there are a few best practices to keep in mind. From demo templates to customizations to troubleshooting, this guide will teach you some pro tips for using Power My Analytics data connectors.

Select Use report template for new reports on the connector configuration page to use a Power My Analytics demo template.

Make sure to read the Connector Notes on the last page of your template. It contains everything you need to know about how each connector works.

Customize Our Templates for Your Needs

Brand Your Report

In Edit Mode, you can click on our logo at the top. Select Delete in the drop-down menu that appears.

You can then select the Image icon from the toolbar and import your own company's logo.

Move your logo into place then right-click and select Make report level to apply it to every page in the report.

Choose your own color scheme from Looker Studio's Theme and Layout options or customize one of your own.

Use Our Charts on Your Own Template

If you already have a template for your reporting, you can right-click and copy reports from our template and paste them to yours.

Add More Sources

Looker Studio allows an unlimited number of sources to be added to a report. You can blend up to 5 sources together.
To add a data source, select Data then Add data.
Notes
When blending data sources in Looker Studio, all blended sources must share the same date range. Data from two different date ranges cannot be blended together by date. This is a limitation of the Looker Studio reporting platform. You can report totals for the combined data sources across both timeframes, but you cannot use the date dimensions as join keys if the date ranges do not match. For more details, see the Looker Studio Blending Super Guide.

Search for Power My Analytics in the gallery and complete the options on the connector configuration page.

See our Looker Studio Blending Super Guide for help with blending data from up to 5 sources.

Troubleshooting

If you are having some difficulty getting your report to look the way you want, check the Connector Notes on the last page of the template first.

Our Basic Troubleshooting guide can help with most other problems.
