This guide will walk you through the process of getting the credentials you need to connect to Apple Search Ads with Power My Analytics. Connecting to Apple Search Ads requires PMA's public key as well as your Apple Search Ads client ID, team ID and key ID.
Required Account Permissions
Before you get started, make sure your Apple Search Ads account has the following
user roles:
- Account Read Only
- Account Admin
These user roles are necessary to connect your account to Power My Analytics.
Connect to Apple Search Ads
To connect to Apple Search Ads, get started in your hub. Go to Sources in the left sidebar and click + New Data Source.
Click on Apple Search Ads in the gallery.
Click the copy icon to copy Power My Analytics' public key. You'll need to enter this in your Apple Search Ads account in the next step.
After signing in, click on your account name in the upper right corner. Then click Settings next to your account.
Under Client Credentials, paste the copied public key into the Public Key field.
Make a copy of the listed clientId, teamId, and keyId. You'll need to enter these into PMA in the next step.
Click the Save button.
Go back to PMA and enter the clientId, teamId and keyId in their respective fields. Then click Connect.
Your Apple Search Ads account is now connected as a data source.
