General HubSpot Troubleshooting Tips
If you are unable to find a solution in the sections above, try these general troubleshooting steps:
- Reconnect your data source. Many HubSpot errors can be resolved by disconnecting and reconnecting your HubSpot data source in your PMA hub. This refreshes your authentication credentials and restores data access.
- Check HubSpot account permissions. The HubSpot account connected to PMA must have Admin, Super Admin, or Owner (full access) permissions. Verify the role assigned to the connected account in HubSpot before contacting support.
- Check your record counts. HubSpot Contacts, Deals, Companies, and Line Items reports are unavailable when the corresponding list exceeds 500,000 records. Check your record counts in HubSpot and filter the affected list below the threshold if needed.
- Understand live-only data. The following HubSpot fields and tables are live data only and cannot be backfilled or grouped by date: utm_campaign, utm_source, utm_medium, utm_content, utm_term, forms, forms_daily, pages, and landing_pages. Reports relying on these fields will only include data from the time of connection onward.
- Verify your HubSpot plan. Certain reports (including Geo, Sources, Landing Pages, and Email Stats) are only available on specific HubSpot plans. If a report is returning no data, confirm that your HubSpot plan includes access to that report type. Refer to the HubSpot Data Connector User Guide for the full plan availability table.
