General LinkedIn Troubleshooting Tips
If you are unable to find a solution in the sections above, try these general troubleshooting steps:
- Reconnect your data source. Many LinkedIn errors can be resolved by disconnecting and reconnecting your LinkedIn data source in your PMA hub. This refreshes your authentication credentials and restores data access.
- Check access permissions. LinkedIn Ads requires at least Viewer access to the ad account, and LinkedIn Companies requires Super Admin access to the company page. Verify that the LinkedIn account connected to PMA has the required role.
- Verify your date range. Some LinkedIn metrics have specific date range requirements. For example, Reach and Average Frequency are limited to 92 days, and Revenue Attribution Report metrics require a date range between 30 and 366 days.
- Account for data delays. LinkedIn Companies data is delayed by up to 2 days, and LinkedIn Ads demographic data is delayed by up to 48 hours. Reports including today or yesterday may contain incomplete data.
- Review connector limitations. Consult the LinkedIn Ads or LinkedIn Companies user guides for detailed information on data limitations, unavailable fields, and API restrictions that may explain unexpected behavior.
